oh, oh, here we come ...
The U.S. Census is reporting that minorities, today 1/3 of the U.S. population, are expected to become the majority in 2042. Further, minorities will comprise 54 percent of the population by 2050. Hispanics, will be 30% of the population (up from today's estimate of 15%) in 2050.

The general demographic trend is undeniable but it's worth pointing out that while non-minorities are identified as being of the "white" race, hispanics are a cultural rather than a racial group/minority. A significant number of Hispanics are in fact "white."
